§18.31: Requirements for Approval of Course

Texas Transportation Code, §521.205(a), provides that the department may not approve a course unless it determines that the course materials are at least equal to those required in a course approved by the Texas Education Agency. The department adopts by reference the driver education course requirements and model program approved by the Texas Education Agency under the guidelines set out in 19 TAC §75.1005.
